Job description

Job Title: 7.5T Driver

Location: Plymouth
Salary: £15.86 p/h to £25.16 p/h

Pertemps, in partnership with the Royal Mail, is seeking 7.5T Drivers for the Plymouth site. We are looking for drivers to start immediately, with shifts available across the country.

As an HGV Driver, after successfully completing an assessment, you will trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. The role involves manual work, with shifts offered a week in advance. We offer competitive pay rates and various start times and days to suit different preferences. Flexibility is preferred, especially for weekend or evening/night shifts.

Entry Requirements:
  1. Hold a valid licence for at least 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points (a clean licence is preferred).
  2. Have a minimum of 180 days of driving experience in the last 2 years, in the relevant category for commercial use.
  3. No more than 10 infringements in the past 12 months, with no more than 6 of the same categories in 6 months.
  4. Check your Digi tacho before assessment to avoid instant failure. Be fully comfortable with manual entries on the Digi tacho.
  5. No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
  6. Able to pass a CRB security check post-registration.
