Job description

Job Title: 7.5T Driver

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £15.86 p/h to £25.16 p/h

Pertemps is partnering with the Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit 7.5T Drivers for the Gloucester site. If you're seeking work, our onsite team across the country is looking for drivers to start immediately.

As an HGV Driver, after completing an assessment, you will trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. The role involves manual work, with shifts offered one week in advance. We offer competitive pay rates and various start times and days to suit different preferences. Flexibility to work weekends and shifts into the evening or night is preferred.

Entry Requirements:

1. Held your licence for at least 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points. (A clean licence is preferable, as exceeding 5 points may end the assignment.)
2. Minimum of 180 days driving experience within the last 2 years, relevant to commercial driving.
3. No more than 10 infringements over 12 months, with no more than 6 of the same categories over 6 months.
4. Ability to check your Digital Tacho before assessment to avoid instant failure.
5. Comfortable with manual entries on the Digital Tacho.
6. No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
7. Willing to clear a CRB security check after registration.
