Job description

Job Title: 7.5T Driver
Location: Exeter
Salary: £15.86 p/h to £25.16 p/h

Pertemps is partnering with the Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit 7.5T Drivers for the Bristol Filton site. We are seeking drivers who can start immediately, with shifts available across the country.

Responsibilities:
  1. Trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network.
  2. Manual handling tasks.
  3. Work shifts scheduled a week in advance, with flexibility for weekends, afternoons, evenings, or nights.
Entry Requirements:
  1. Held a driving licence for at least 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points.
  2. Preferably a clean licence; exceeding 5 points may lead to termination of the assignment.
  3. Minimum of 180 days driving experience within the last 2 years, in relevant categories for commercial use.
  4. No more than 10 infringements over 12 months, with no more than 6 in the same category over 6 months.
  5. Ability to check your Digi tacho before assessment; manual entries on the Digi tacho are essential.
  6. No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
  7. Willing to clear a CRB security check.
