The Best Connection Eastbourne is recruiting 7.5 Tonne (Cat C1) drivers for a reputable client based in Eastbourne. This role involves early morning starts and deliveries into London and the surrounding areas.

You will be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries, ensuring loads are secure, conducting vehicle checks, and maintaining accurate delivery paperwork. You’ll work with a well-run operation and enjoy dependable hours.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (Cat C1) licence and CPC card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card and compliance knowledge.
• Experience driving in London and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries into London and surrounding areas.
• Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Maintain paperwork and delivery documentation accurately.
• Uphold driver hours and working time regulations.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for:

• Completing scheduled deliveries into London and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring goods are transported safely and loads remain secure.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly.
• Operating in line with drivers' hours and working time regulations.
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all delivery points.
• Accurately completing any relevant paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Maintaining high standards of road safety and vehicle care.
