To deliver customers’ products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will ensure that all products are transported safely to the customers’ premises, treating their freight as if it were their own.

Key responsibilities

• Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
• Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements at all times
• Undertake all daily checks, report defects immediately, and complete correct paperwork
• Ensure all products are scanned using DX scanning equipment
• Load deliveries safely prior to leaving the depot
• Observe DX procedures and policies at all times
• Manage routing to achieve premium and timed deliveries
• Ensure all equipment and PPE are in good order and used at all times
• Report delivery and on-road issues to the traffic office immediately
• Deliver products in excellent condition and handle customer issues politely and effectively
• Make collections as instructed and on schedule
• Hold a C1 or above license with valid DQC and Tacho card
• Have a maximum of 6 points on license and no bans
• Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and build rapport with customers
