Job summary

Swift Temps is looking for skilled 7.5t drivers to perform deliveries and collections across Dunstable, Milton Keynes, and nearby areas. The role operates Monday to Friday with start times at 7am or 9am, offering regular hours and potential for temp-to-perm for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities include vehicle pre-trip checks, loading and securing cargo, delivering to required locations, coordinating with dispatch and clients, and adhering to all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5t licence (C1).
• Current CPC and digital driving card.
• Clean Driving Licence and at least 12 months HGV driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit (handball).
• Collection and delivery of goods to the required location.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
