Job summary

The Best Connection in Alton is recruiting a reliable 7.5T Driver for a 12-week temp-to-perm role. You will handle local and regional deliveries, with up to 10 drops daily, across development sites within a broad radius.

Salary £34,500 per annum, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm. Applicants must hold a valid UK licence, Driver CPC, tachograph and Digi card, plus prior 7.5T experience. Potential for long-term career progression within a well-established logistics team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure deliveries are on time.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (45-minute break)

Our client based in Alton is recruiting for a 7.5T Driver to join their team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 7.5T Driver looking for a long-term position with a well-established logistics company.

As part of this 7.5T Driver vacancy, you will be making deliveries to new development sites within a 250-mile radius of Alton using a 7.5-tonne flatbed vehicle, completing up to 10 deliveries per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a 7.5-tonne flatbed lorry for local and regional deliveries.
• Complete up to 10 deliveries per day to new development sites.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Secure loads correctly using ratchet straps.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.

Requirements:

• Previous 7.5T driving experience is essential.
• Experience using ratchet straps is essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Valid Driver CPC, tacho and digi card.
• Good geographical knowledge.
