Currys Ltd is seeking a 7.5T Delivery & Install Driver for our Stevenage Customer Service Centre. In this permanent, full-time role, you will deliver and install large household appliances, making a difference in customers' lives as the friendly face they see.

You’ll work as part of a team, tackling around 25 deliveries a day, and enjoy benefits like product discounts and a competitive pension scheme. A Class C1 licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• CPC card required, Tachograph card ideal.

7.5T Delivery & Install Driver

Location: Stevenage

Site: Stevenage Customer Service Centre

Employment type: Permanent, Full Time

Shift Pattern: 5 days over 8 days (45 working hours per week)

Salary: £33,415.20

As a 7.5T Delivery & Install Driver, you’ll be out on the road delivering and installing large household appliances and tech; things like washing machines, fridge‑freezers and TVs. You’ll be the friendly face our customers see, helping them get set up and often making their day in the process.

Role overview

What you’ll do:

• Deliver the right products to the right customers, on time
• Install a range of household appliances and tech safely and professionally
• Work as part of a 2‑person team to move and position large items
• Use equipment such as tail lifts, sack barrows and lifting aids to work safely
• Drive a multi‑drop route and keep everything running smoothly
• Create a positive, friendly experience every time you step into a customer’s home

This is a busy, hands‑on role. You’ll typically complete around 25 deliveries a day, with 8–10 of those involving installations in customers’ homes. No two days are the same, and you’ll finish each shift knowing you’ve made a real difference.

You will need:

• A full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• CPC card (and ideally) Tachograph card.
• To be comfortable working in a practical, physical role.
