Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking experienced 7.5T delivery drivers for ongoing work in Leicester and surrounding Leicestershire. You will deliver food and drink to schools, care homes and restaurants, with immediate starts and potential to secure a permanent contract. Expect loading/unloading duties, strict timekeeping and professional customer service.

Shifts are Mon-Fri from 05:00, with occasional Saturdays. Temporary contract with pay rates of £13.75 per hour; holiday accrues up to 28 days per year

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Valid CPC card.
• Previous 7.5T driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DD, DR or TT conviction codes.
• Willing to apply for a DBS check or already hold one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drink products to customers including schools, care homes and restaurants.
• Assist with loading and unloading; perform vehicle checks.
• Collaborate with team to ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Mon-Fri shifts from 05:00 with occasional Saturday work.
