Job summary

Flexible People Ltd are recruiting 7.5t Home delivery drivers for a well known client based in Moss End, delivering large goods to residential properties with a Driver’s Mate.

You must be physically fit. After a driving assessment and highway code/tacho exam, induction day follows. The role operates 7 days a week on a 5 or 6 day rota with 06:00 starts and 9–11 hour shifts. Pay is £17.15 per hour including holiday pay, with overtime at £22.97 after 48 hours. Benefits apply after 12 weeks.

Job description

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home delivery drivers for a well known client of ours, based in Moss End.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi-national organization, with the potential for growth and opportunities.

This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are TV's, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods, sofas, beds etc.

Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit.

The company offer the customer a 'room of choice' delivery, you will be fully trained on how to do this.

Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code/tacho exam. This will then be followed the next day with a subsequent induction day.

The company operate 7 days a week, you will be offered a 5 or 6 day rota. Weekend work will be involved.

Shift timings are 06.00 start, shifts last roughly 9-11hours.

Pay rate - £17.15 per hour including holiday pay.

Overtime rate - (After 48 hours) - £22.97 per hour.

After 12 weeks, you can be offered a contract directly with the company. Once you become a full time member of staff, you will be entitled to an award-winning range of benefits including-

Our client will happily accept newly qualified drivers.Please note that drug tests can be carried out at anytime, at the clients discretion. A drug test will also be carried out at assessment.

You must have a valid UK License, CPC and Digitacho, no more than 6 points on your driving license. No DD, DR or NI convictions.
