Job Advert: 7.5T Customer Delivery and Installation Driver

Location: Unit A The Faraday Centre, Rutherford Road, Basingstoke, RG24 8PD

Hours: 5 days on, 3 days off, 6:45am - 6:45pm, 45 hrs per week

Contract Type: Full-Time / Ad-Hoc

Salary: £15.85 an hour

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and ready to take the wheel of a rewarding career? We're looking for 7.5T Customer Delivery and Installation Drivers to join our dynamic supply chain team and help bring technology to life for customers across the UK.

This Grade 2 role reports directly to a First Line Manager and plays a key part in delivering, installing, and demonstrating products in customers' homes — safely, professionally, and with a smile.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  1. Safely deliver, install, and demonstrate a range of products including white goods, televisions, and cookers in customers' homes.
  2. Provide an exceptional customer experience by keeping them informed and ensuring all deliveries and installations meet the highest standards.
  3. Use a handheld device (Savvy) to manage visit records and obtain customer signatures.
  4. Stay in regular contact with your base to manage scheduling, address unexpected issues, and adapt to changing delivery needs.
  5. Handle all products with care, using provided equipment such as straps and sack barrows.
  6. Liaise with manufacturers if needed at the point of delivery.
  7. Drive responsibly, complying with all road laws and company policies.
  8. Deliver and collect tote boxes and stock from retail stores.
  9. Ensure your vehicle load is regularly reviewed, secured, and safely managed.
  10. Always represent the business professionally as a brand ambassador.
