Job summary

DPD Group UK in Cardiff is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will manage local routes with 40–50 stops daily, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll use Saturn handheld devices for tracking, handle loading and unloading with basic equipment, and work Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:15. A valid C1 licence and CPC are required, and we promote from within.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and CPC (DQC) accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months experience driving 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Physically active and able to lift.
• Professional, approachable, customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Drive 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with safety and efficiency.
• Use Saturn handheld devices for tracking deliveries.
• Load and unload parcels using sacks and hand trucks.
• Provide friendly customer service during drop-offs.
