QS Recruitment Ltd in Derbyshire is sourcing a dependable 7.5 Tonne Refuse Driver to join a busy waste collection team based in Alfreton. This role offers regular weekday hours, early starts and the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.

You will drive a 7.5-tonne refuse vehicle on designated routes, collect household and commercial waste, complete daily paperwork and maintain safety standards while working as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Category C1 driving licence (7.5 tonnes).
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• A good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach.
• Physical fitness and comfort working outdoors.

Looking for reliable weekday work with early starts and early finishes? We’re currently recruiting a dependable 7.5 Tonne Refuse Driver to join a busy waste collection team based in Alfreton.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver looking for regular hours, overtime opportunities and the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

Working alongside a team of loaders, you’ll drive designated routes across Derbyshire, collecting household and commercial waste safely and efficiently.

Your duties will include:

Driving a 7.5-tonne refuse vehicle along designated routes

Collecting household and commercial waste

Working alongside loaders to complete collections

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

Completing required paperwork

Following health and safety procedures at all times

You’ll need to be physically fit, comfortable working outdoors and able to work effectively as part of a team.
