7.5 tonne driver Gatwick

Pertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail, the UK’s designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit 7.5T Drivers. If you are looking for work, then look no further, as our onsite teams across the country are looking for Drivers to start work immediately in Southwark.

As a 7.5T Driver, after successfully completing an assessment, you will be required to trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. There is very little manual work and shifts are offered 1 week in advance. We have competitive pay rates and an array of start times and days available to suit. We are keen to speak to any Drivers who are open to both days or nights.

To meet entry requirements, you will have:

1. Held your licence for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points.
2. A minimum of 180 days driving experience within the last 2 years.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.

Due to the nature of our client’s business, you will be required to clear a CRB security check following the point of registration.

In return, 7.5T Drivers will receive:

1. Pay rates - £18 - £27 per hour depending on Week/weekend shift or shift start/finish time.
2. Minimum daily hours guaranteed.
3. Accrued holiday pay.
4. Access to pension (PAYE).
5. Weekly pay.
6. Onsite canteen facility.
7. Onsite car parking.
