People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in the Wolverhampton area.

Rates of Pay:

• Basic: £15.07 per hour

Day to Day Duties:

• Your duties as a 7.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to:
• RDC or Brewery Deliveries no handball (working on curtain-side)
• up to 100 parcel both delivery and collections
• Operate and drive various 7.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• will require them using their own devices as a scanner by downloading an app so their phone needs to have NFC (Apple/Google Pay) feature.
• They are required to scan their own parcels and load/unload themself
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category C1 Licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving C1 vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial

Training:

• Training received on the first day and support throughout
