Job summary

Workchain is seeking an experienced 7.5T Driver who also holds a valid Counterbalance FLT licence to join a busy operation in Wellingborough. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, loading with a forklift, and securing loads to 7.5 tonnes.

Candidates must have a valid 7.5T licence, CPC, and Tacho, plus in-date forklift certification. The position offers weekly pay and a temp-to-perm pathway.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T (C1) licence, CPC and Tacho card.
• In-date Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Previous experience in both driving and operating a forklift.
• Strong understanding of load securing and strapping techniques.
• Physically fit and hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle for multi-drop or bulk deliveries.
• Loading your own vehicle using a counterbalance forklift.
• Securing heavy goods with strapping up to 7.5 tonnes.
• Ensuring all loads are safe, secure and compliant with regulations.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork.

7.5 Tonne Driver with Counterbalance Forklift – Immediate Start

Our client is currently looking for an experienced 7.5T Driver, who also holds a valid Counterbalance FLT Licence, to join a busy and fast-paced operation.

Benefits

• Pay: £14.00 per hour - Weekly Pay
• Location: Wellingborough
• Shifts: Monday to Friday - 08:00am to approx 16:00pm
• Job Type: Temp to Perm

Role & Responsibilities

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle for multi-drop or bulk deliveries
• Loading your own vehicle using a counterbalance forklift
• Securing heavy goods with intense strapping – goods can weigh up to 7.5 tonnes
• Ensuring all loads are safe, secure, and legally compliant
• Carrying out vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork

Required Skills & Experience

• Valid 7.5T (C1) licence, CPC, and Tacho card
• In-date Counterbalance forklift licence
• Previous experience in both driving and operating a forklift
• Strong understanding of load securing and strapping techniques
• Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
