Job summary

A logistics company in Leicester is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Driver for permanent work. As a driver, you will deliver produce, handle loading and unloading, and complete necessary paperwork. Candidates must have a valid C1 licence, excellent communication skills, and customer service orientation. The role includes various shifts with a pay rate of £31,750 per annum.

Qualifications

• No more than 6 points on your licence.

Overview

7.5 Tonne DRIVER

Permanent 7.5tonne / HGV C1 work available in Bardon, Leicestershire.

Shifts

• 2/3AM starts
• 5 shifts a week (48 hours contracted hours)
• 6 day a week operation (various shift patterns Monday-Saturday)

Pay rates

£31,750p/annum (£12.72p/hour)

Job role will include

• Delivery of produce on various routes
• Loading and unloading fresh produce with care and attention up to 25kg - sack barrow provided
• 10-25 drops per shift
• 9-10 hour shifts
• Completing HGV vehicle defect walk around checks & maintaining logs
• Completing delivery paperwork

The Candidate

• A valid full category 7.5tonne/HGV C1 licence
• NEW PASSES WELCOME
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Work well with others or independently if needed
• Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
• As a driver must have a current CPC and Digi card
• No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no BA/CD/CU DR/DD/IN offences please)
