Job summary

A leading company is seeking an experienced 7.5T Driver for part-time work in Ilkeston. The position features competitive hourly rates ranging from £13.50 to £16.34 depending on payment method and includes 28 days of annual leave. Ideal candidates will have good communication skills and at least two years of experience holding their driving license and CPC. Drivers will generally work Monday to Friday starting between 7am and 11am for about 8 hours a day.

Job Description

Are you an experienced 7.5T Driver looking for part-time work? This position involves delivering varying caged goods, typically with one drop, but you will always be paid for a minimum of 6 hours. Drivers usually complete between 1 and 3 drops per day. While the job is not physically demanding, occasional assistance with loading and unloading, including handballing, may be required.

Hourly Rate: The pay rate is £16.34 per hour paid via our Umbrella provider. Alternatively, you can choose to be paid through PAYE, which offers a rate of £13.50 per hour plus full pay for 28 days of annual leave, effectively making the hourly rate £15.13 including holiday pay. Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship.

Working Hours: You will work Monday to Friday, generally starting between 7am and 11am, for around 8 hours per day.

Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have held their license and CPC for over two years, possess good communication skills, and present well, as you will be interacting with our client’s customers.
