Job summary

Driver Hire Chelmsford & Harlow is seeking experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers for flexible work across the CM postcode area. Join a trusted recruitment agency offering shifts that fit your lifestyle, from a few per week to regular ad hoc bookings, with the chance to work for a variety of established clients.

You will operate 7.5 tonne vehicles, perform pre/post- shift checks, ensure timely deliveries, complete paperwork accurately, and maintain excellent customer service while adhering to UK driving

Qualifications

• Valid Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) driving licence.
• Valid CPC Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous 7.5 tonne driving experience.
• Professional and reliable approach to work.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations.
• Availability for flexible and ad hoc shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating 7.5 tonne vehicles across a range of delivery routes.
• Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Ensuring deliveries are made on time and to a high standard.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point.
• Following all UK driving laws and health and safety procedures.
