Job description

What will I be doing?

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be driving our waste vehicles, managing the operation and loading of vehicles collecting municipal recycling and waste from households.
We expect candidates to deliver a high standard of service and ensure compliance with Health and Safety rules and contractual requirements at all times.

• Working with the Re-Use section of the Greater Manchester Contract
• Manual handling of white goods and furniture
• Rolling trollies for load and unload
• Rail lift loading

What are the requirements?

• You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills.
• Willingness to be part of a hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.
• Experience in the waste industry and knowledge of the area is desirable.
• Must have a valid CPC card to be successful.
