poltronesof is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver in the United Kingdom. You will deliver and install furniture in customers' homes, follow a delivery schedule with your crew mate, and support loading/unloading at the distribution centre.

The role requires Category C1 licence, tachograph card, CPC qualification, and a commitment to customer service. You'll work 44 hours over 4 days with Sundays off, enjoy a competitive salary and a wide range of benefits, including pension, EAP, Virtual GP,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit, but we find personality and the ability to learn new skills more important.

What does the role involve?

• Delivering and installing furniture in customers homes
• Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
• Work as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles
• Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback
• Making sure the team is safe by carrying out checks and driving safely
• Work 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off. Flexibility would be required in peak periods
• Heavy lifting

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience within a driving role
• Category C1 vehicle licence
• Driver digital tachograph card
• Relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence)
• Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements of operating a vehicle and is familiar with the use and regulation of tacographs
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow process and procedures
• Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling as this role involves heavy lifting
• Hard working
• Team player
• Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable)
