Job summary

DPDgroup in the United Kingdom seeks a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to own a designated local route, delivering parcels with high service standards. You will be the face of the company on the street, handling 40–50 stops daily while staying safety-conscious and professional.

Ideal candidates hold a valid 7.5 Tonne licence and CPC, with a few months of driving experience. This on-site role includes loading/unloading duties and using Saturn devices for route tracking.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional and approachable demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting tasks.
• Respectful to customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels on local routes with around 40–50 stops per day.
• Load and unload parcels using hand trucks or sack barrows.
• Utilise Saturn handheld devices to track progress and manage deliveries.
• Provide safe, efficient, and friendly service to customers.
