Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne driver to own a local delivery route. You will deliver parcels with a focus on accuracy and customer service, starting early with a clear daily plan and safety at the forefront.

You will use Saturn handheld tech to navigate, scan, and update progress while handling loading duties and maintaining professional conduct on all customer interactions. This is a full‑time, weekday role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally around 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Physically able to handle lifting and loading/unloading tasks.
• Professional, approachable and customer‑facing on a local route.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on a designated local route with ~40–50 stops per day.
• Load/unload parcels using sacks, barrows and hand trucks.
• Utilise Saturn handheld devices to track progress and manage deliveries.
• Provide safe, efficient and friendly delivery service to customers.

The Role

• The Hustle: You’ll be loading and unloading parcels, using high-end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you're on the move.
