Job summary

South Kesteven District Council is seeking a capable 7.5 tonne driver to join its waste and recycling team. You will operate a 7.5 Ton vehicle, collect household waste across South Kesteven and transport it to disposal or treatment facilities.

The role is a permanent, full-time position working 42 hours per week, with duties extending to waste and recycling tasks as required. The successful candidate will help keep our community clean and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
• Collect waste from properties across South Kesteven.
• Deliver waste to designated disposal/treatment facilities.

Job description

Hours: 42 Hours per week

Salary: SK5MS at 42 Hours per week (£30,512 per annum)

Contract: Permanent

We are currently seeking a 7.5 Ton driver to join our waste and recycling department, with additional responsibilities in waste and recycling when required. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and operating a 7.5 Ton vehicle, collecting waste from properties across South Kesteven and delivering it to the correct disposal and treatment facility.
