About ILM Highland
Due to an increase in work ILM Highland is seeking an energetic and reliable Waste Electrical Collection Operative to support the collection, loading, and transportation of waste electrical items across the Highlands. This role is based in Alness and involves working at various sites throughout the region.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollection & Transportation
Load and unload waste electrical items from vehicles and trailers.
Safely transport waste electrical items to and from various locations across the Highlands.
Ensure proper handling and storage of collected materials.
Vehicle & Equipment Operation
Operate company vehicles, including those up to 7.5 tonnes.
Safely use a forklift truck for loading and unloading operations.
Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any issues.
General Duties
Assist with warehouse operations and sorting of collected items.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Carry out additional tasks as required to support the team.
RequirementsEssential
A valid UK driving licence allowing you to drive up to 7.5-tonne vehicles (no more than 6 points).
Forklift truck operation experience.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks.
A flexible approach to work and company requirements.
Preferred
Previous experience in waste collection or logistics.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse/transport environment.
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Overtime: Available on Saturdays
