Job summary

University of Surrey invites applications for a Research Fellow in Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) for Future 6G RANs, collaborating with InterDigital. The role blends advanced research, simulation development and pre-standardisation activities across Surrey and InterDigital locations.

You will contribute to ISAC channel modelling, waveform design, AI/ML-enabled interfaces, and dissemination through reports and publications, with opportunities to travel for meetings and to work

Qualifications

• Strong research expertise in ISAC-related areas such as channel modelling, radar/sensing signal processing, MIMO/beamforming, waveform design or AI/ML for wireless systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research on ISAC for Future 6G RANs and develop evaluation tools.
• Collaborate with Surrey and InterDigital researchers, contribute to reports, standards and publications.
• Attend project meetings and travel to InterDigital's London office as required.
