Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have SAP experience for at least 66kV in either Onshore Wind Renewables, large-scale infrastructure, or HV Electrical Projects. The role is based in Coventry, with travel throughout the country, and involves experience with on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for routine activities for HV switching operations up to and including 66kV
• Schedule annual HV preventative maintenance for sites at convenient times, including for BOP and Wind Turbine HV equipment
• Ensure works are completed to the highest safety standards
• Write and complete risk assessments and method statements
• Maintain stock to facilitate efficient repair turnarounds
• Attend sites, including out of hours, to establish root causes and complete repairs safely and promptly

Requirements

• SAP experience for at least 66kV
• Focus on Health and Safety with up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Experience in writing risk assessments and method statements for HV preventative maintenance
• Experience performing IR, winding resistance, and TTR tests on transformers (50kVA - 3000 kVA) and VLF testing on HV cables
• Experience locating underground cable faults and performing IR testing on underground cables
• Experience operating and maintaining various HV switchgear
• Based in Scotland and available for on-call out-of-hours work
