Overview
- Design, write, edit, and test clear, compelling in-product language to help users and teams meet their goals. This includes product flows, interface language, education materials, product names, navigational nomenclature, terminology, taxonomies, and other content across our client’s products and experiences.
- Apply systems thinking to the product, including defining extensible design system guidance, conducting audits of existing experiences, or creating information architecture.
- Utilize your understanding of how code works in software, which may involve reviewing code to ensure in-product language accuracy or creating logic to personalize user experiences.
- Collaborate daily with peers across disciplines such as engineering, design, research, marketing, and data science to bring products from conception to launch.
- Partner with our internationalization team to ensure high-quality product experiences in multiple languages.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and help shape product narratives, team direction, and strategy.
- Independently identify and proactively work on projects spanning multiple teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in UX writing.
- Examples of finished wireframes or design mocks co-authored using design tools that have influenced team decisions.
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex ideas effectively to broad audiences.
- Familiarity with tools for managing and updating content at scale.
- Experience with design systems and systems thinking.
- Proven experience leading projects with minimal guidance and managing ambiguity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Design writing and editing skills.
- Experience in category management, sales strategy, or related fields within digital content and products.
- Experience with consumer research and using data and insights to inform product and market strategies.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, with strong analytical skills and experience in market research and data analysis.
- Experience conducting path-to-purchase and sales competitive analyses, identifying differentiation opportunities.
- Developing sales strategies and evaluating sales opportunities for growth.
- Excellent presentation, influencing, and stakeholder persuasion skills.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environments, proactively identifying and escalating issues.
