Location: UK, remote

Start Date: 06/05/2025, End Date: 05/11/2025

Rate: From £60.58 - £66.83 p/h (Inside IR35)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Overview

Reality Labs' mission is “To give people the tools to feel connected anytime, anywhere.” The teams work on augmented and virtual reality technologies, pushing the state-of-the-art with groundbreaking research into emerging technologies and hardware to bring this vision to life.

The Horizon Spaces Pillar is responsible for building the Horizon Worlds application, creation tools, multiplayer services, user experience for transitioning between worlds, and key capabilities used inside worlds, including first-party spaces like Horizon Home, Central, Events, and the MR Playground.

This role is within the devinfra / prod-infra team of Horizon-Experiences Infra & Tooling (HIT) in the Metaverse organization. The team aims to improve build & test infrastructure and reliability for all Metaverse first-party apps, working closely with partners in Horizon Experiences and Spaces across EMEA and the US.

Skills & Experience

• Software development experience in Python
• Experience in a large tech company
• 8-10 years’ experience (IC5)
• 10+ years’ experience (IC6)
• Experience with build systems
• Experience with Android and Unity (preferred)
• Experience with Bazel/Buck (preferred)
• Experience with code coverage tooling
