Job summary

Pertemps in Bristol is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver/Loader to join a busy waste and recycling team across Bristol. The role combines driving with loading duties and requires physical activity on a 6:00am–2:30pm schedule, Monday to Friday, with a 39-hour week.

Applicants must hold a HGV Class 2 licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, be reliable and safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors. No prior experience is necessary; new Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Drive Class 2 vehicles and assist with loading as part of a waste and recycling collection team.

HGV Class 2 Driver/Loader – Bristol £17.27 per hour | Monday–Friday | 6:00am–2:30pm

The job is a hands‑on role combining Class 2 driving and loading duties as part of a team collecting waste and recycling across Bristol.

It’s an active job with plenty of walking, lifting and time on your feet — ideal if you enjoy keeping active or are looking to get into better shape while you work.

No previous HGV driving or bin loading experience is required, so newly passed Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply.
