We offer a dynamic working environment with rewarding opportunities. As a starting point we will enrol you on a NVQ Level 2 dispensing assistant course to develop your skills in a pharmacy environment. You will be provided with a designated tutor who will support you through the course.

As a customer service advisor, playing a pivotal role within the team, you will be responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing communication from internal and external customers by phone, fax or email. You will answer queries and ensure they are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner. Accuracy in this role is crucial, so you will have great attention to detail throughout all the processes.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Make outbound calls to patients to arrange delivery for their medication.
  • Assist with processing prescription orders, including entering prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system and verifying patient details.
  • Prepare medication orders for delivery to patients\' homes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Learn and apply dispensing techniques and procedures under the guidance of experienced pharmacy staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including stocking shelves, inventory management, and cleaning equipment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing paperwork and updating patient records.
  • Handle enquiries, complaints, and requests from customers promptly and courteously, escalating issues as necessary to ensure resolution.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations and customer service.
  • To follow relevant SOPs and Company policy and procedure to always ensure patient safety.
Your Experience
  • Retail or call centre background is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a target driven environment.
  • Minimum A to C GCSE in Maths and English.
  • Customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
