Job summary

RIZE Recruitment is seeking experienced 5G RAN Field Engineers to support a major nationwide mobile network rollout across the UK. You will install, upgrade, commission and integrate Ericsson RAN gear on mobile sites, with travel to sites across the country.

This long-term contract offers exposure to Ericsson Massive MIMO, 4G/5G deployments, and RAN commissioning while ensuring safety standards are met and site documentation is completed.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK mobile telecoms projects, rollout or upgrade exposure.
• Ability to read installation drawings and technical documentation.
• Flexibility to travel to sites across the UK and work at height.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade Ericsson 4G and 5G RAN equipment.
• Install radios, basebands, antennas, RRUs/RRHs, fibre and cabling.
• Support Ericsson Massive MIMO / AIR equipment deployments.
• Carry out equipment swaps and network modernization activities.
• Commission, integrate and test new Ericsson gear.
• Complete site acceptance testing and resolve issues.
