Summary
The role involves supporting the Head of LDU Cluster by providing management and leadership within the National Probation Service (NPS) Local Delivery Unit (LDU). The post holder will represent the Head of LDU Cluster with external agencies/stakeholders and staff as appropriate. All policies regarding the sensitive/confidential information handled must be adhered to. Participation in out-of-hours on-call rota may be required. This post is open to candidates on lateral transfer or loan. For internal candidates applying for promotion, it will be a temporary act-up with a loan agreement. External candidates will be on a fixed-term contract. The role involves leading the South West Probation Service Court Work, liaising with sentencers and HMCTS, with temporary coverage up to 12 months.
