Job description

Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting 5x Electrical Tester to join a Electrical Main Contractor on a new build Waste to Energy facility based in Chester, Cheshire for 4 months (possible extension)

The Electrical Tester position come with an hourly rate from �19 to �22 per hour.

Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

Perform electrical inspection and testing (Initial Verification & Periodic) in accordance with BS 7671
*
Complete test sheets and electrical installation condition reports (EICs, EICRs, MEWPs, etc.)
*
Conduct dead and live testing (IR, continuity, Zs, ZsR1+R2, RCD, etc.)
*
Identify faults, non-conformances, and complete remedial actions as needed
*
Support site-wide QA and handover documentation (Red Line drawings, snag lists)
*
Work closely with Supervisors, Commissioning Engineers, and QA team
*
Maintain adherence to all site safety and permit systems
*
Ensure compliance with IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)

* Chester, Cheshire
* �19 to �22 per hour (CIS)
* Immediate start date
