Our client, a top-tier UK law firm, is seeking a 5+ PQE Leveraged Finance Associate to join their high-performing, cohesive banking team. Position Overview

As a Leveraged Finance Associate, you will play a key role in advising banks, financial institutions, debt funds, alternative lenders, and private equity sponsors on complex, cross-border financing structures. You will be responsible for documenting and negotiating a range of leveraged finance debt facilities, working closely with senior lawyers and partners to deliver exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

1. Advise on a variety of leveraged finance transactions, focusing on representing lenders and sponsors.
2. Document and negotiate a range of leveraged finance debt facilities.
3. Manage and coordinate the legal aspects of transactions, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, corporate, and real estate departments.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.

Requirements

1. Qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE in leveraged finance.
2. Strong academic background.
3. Proven track record in advising on complex, cross-border financing structures.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
