The role is full-time with salary £29,000–£32,000, including shift allowance and overtime; you will work largely independently, with strong guidance from the engineering team, and BPSS clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• CNC milling setting and operating experience.
• Experience in precision engineering environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Candidates must be eligible to obtain BPSS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Preparing machines and completing setups to meet production requirements.
• Producing precision-engineered components to required specifications.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Checking finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments as required.
• Working independently on machines with minimal supervision.
• Collaborating with the wider engineering team when required.
