Job summary
The Wakefield 0-19 Service have an exciting opportunity for the position of 5-19 clinical lead.
Integral to the 0-19, this post holder is responsible for providing clinical leadership and management to the 5-19 team, ensuring delivery of excellence in clinical practice, through implementation of evidence-based interventions. To ensure delivery of a Service offering high-quality support, care and interventions, with appropriate and adequate clinical supervision.
The post holder will support the leadership team in developing and implementing a strategic plan for the service, demonstrating and monitoring key outcomes through regular evaluation to allow for continued innovation and improvement. The role will include representing the 0-19 Service at key partnership meeting.
The post holder is required to maintain and manage a reduced clinical caseload to demonstrate ongoing clinical competency.
Main duties of the jobThe postholder will:
Provide reports ensuring appropriate information, action plans, and evaluation of outcomes for the Service, reflecting local and national strategic priorities
Demonstrate a high level of clinical effectiveness by utilising evidence-based practice and outcome measures, ensuring these are fully embedded across the workforce
Co-ordinate, lead and facilitate programmes of care and specific care projects within the Service to ensure provision of a seamless service for children, young people and their families
Following local policy and procedure, support to resolve complaints, and ensure that all staff working within the Service understand the complaints policy
