Job description

Blue Dot Games is seeking environment artists to join our small animation team working on the title ’83 ( https://83thegame.com). We are a small, friendly and ambitious team with big plans. Could you be part of these plans?

The candidate will have a great eye for detail and have experience in some or all of the following aspects of Unreal Engine:

  1. Nanite
  2. Lumen
  3. VSM
  4. HLoDs
  5. PCG Terrain
  6. Master Materials
  7. Texture/Material optimisation

Familiarity with Unreal Engine (ideally UE5) workflows and pipelines is essential, as is an understanding of the latest optimisation techniques.

Preference is given to artists with some knowledge of lighting techniques in Unreal.

Preference will also be given to candidates who additionally have experience of hard surface modelling (weapons, vehicles, etc.).

The team will be remote, so effective communication skills in an all-remote setting are required.
