Job summary

A recruitment agency is hiring a Production Operative with a Forklift License to work on the outskirts of Downham Market. You will assist in running bagging lines, manage stock movement, perform quality checks, and execute manual tasks. Previous manufacturing experience and a valid Counterbalance forklift license are required. This role offers a day shift schedule of 4 on 4 off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence is required.
• A driving License and personal transport preferred due to location.

Job description

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operative with Forklift License to work based on the outskirts of Downham Market on a 4 on 4 off shift basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the running of the bagging lines.
• Assist in movement of stock around the warehouse
• Quality checking all items to ensure no packaging damage
• Working with an electronic stock control system
• Yard work
• General Warehouse and Factory Duties (will include some line work)
• Manual physical work will be involved

Requirements

• Full training will be given however previous experience within a manufacturing background would be beneficial
• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence is required
• Shifts: 4 on 4 off, all day shifts (7am-7pm)
• A driving License and own transport is preferred due to company location

Details

• Location: outskirts of Downham Market
• Hourly rate: £13.75 per hour
