Job Description:
Exciting time to join a leading global organisation: transformation and M&A activities in abundance here. Strong leadership team in place.
These brand new roles are part of a wider campaign across Group Procurement.
Are you strong in Property Services/FM or HR Services?
You might be experienced across consultancy/professional services and BPO/Outsourcing.
Then, there's another opportunity in banking operations, payments, etc.
There are 3, possibly 4 roles across these different areas.
These roles all require the full end-to-end sourcing, category management, and SRM.
The specific responsibilities of these roles are to operate as the procurement expert and deliver the following:
- Build multi-year sourcing and category strategies using market data and industry trends, ensuring the true end-to-end cost picture, opportunities, risks, and innovation are fully articulated and understood.
- Lead and execute complex and strategic sourcing activity, understanding the impact on the cost-income ratio.
- Drive cost and business benefits (tangible & intangible) to deliver against Procurement and business targets.
- Interpret business strategy and adapt into tangible sourcing and category plans.
- Actively identify benefit unlock through contract lifecycle management.
- Develop and lead strategic supplier relationships to obtain market-leading commercial models and transformational innovation.
- Build, maintain, and evolve senior stakeholder relationships to influence business decisions and strategies.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Group SRM model.
- Operate at a highly skilled level to coach the business through the sourcing process, enabling them to be market-ready.
- Use fact-based decisioning to articulate options through storytelling to senior stakeholders.
- Have a good understanding of the Financial Services regulatory framework.
- Agree on a pipeline of activities and strategies for transactional procurement, ensuring the delivery of targets.
- Contribute to financial planning, including annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and reviewing spend versus budget, key initiatives, opportunities, and risks.
