Job summary

A global industrial filtration company in Glasgow seeks a dedicated operative to maintain a clean and safe work area, understand and follow all safety procedures, and document production logs. The ideal candidate should be able to lift 50 pounds consistently, stand throughout the shift, and possess or obtain a forklift license. Experience in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment is a plus. Overtime may be required including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Understand and follow all safety procedures.
• Perform and document production logs and products.
• Document and report raw material consumption.
• Complete required documentation relating to product.
• Communicate quality issues to appropriate personnel.
• Provide data for nonconforming material disposition.
• Assign lot numbers for material traceability.
• Ensure operations conform to ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Skills

Ability to read and understand specifications

Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently

Ability to stand all shift

Forklift license or ability to obtain

Ability to use various measuring instruments

Basic math functions

Computer literate/able to use PLC interface

Manufacturing equipment troubleshooting and repair

Ability to work overtime including weekends
