Job summary

AG Barr is seeking a 3rd Party Supply Planning Manager to join our hybrid team. You will drive production efficiency, optimise co-manufacturing networks, and balance inventory to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will collaborate with procurement, S&OP, and cross-functional teams to manage third-party production lifecycles, improve capacity planning, and control costs.

Qualifications

• Proven supply/manufacturing planning experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Strong proficiency in MRP/DRP/ERP systems and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
• Hands-on experience working within S&OP cycles and managing third-party manufacturing partnerships.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and project management skills with risk identification and multi-tasking.
• Exceptional cross-functional communication skills with stakeholder relationship building.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to supplier sites and internal locations as needed.
• Previous experience managing or mentoring direct reports and passion for continuous learning.
• Exposure to multi-site stock deployment and complex network inventory strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage 13-week capacity plan and fixed production schedules with third-party partners.
• Partner with Procurement on co-manufacturer selection; lead monthly Supply Planning Clinics; track supplier KPIs.
• optimise inventory levels with warehouse capacity; ensure raw material availability via MRP.
• Drive S&OP, manage third-party projects, elevate capacity risks/opportunities.
• Keep movements within budget; coordinate with Deployment and CS to position goods at right time/place/cost.
• Regularly refine core planning processes to support goals and streamline ops.
