Job summary

V.Group is seeking a Third Officer for Pure Car and Truck Carrier on a contract basis. You will act as the designated officer for lifesaving and firefighting appliances and ensure SOLAS-compliant readiness.

Reporting to the Master and Chief Officer, you will maintain a safe navigational watch, assist with mooring operations, and prepare vessel documentation for port calls. This shipboard role requires vigilance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• The Third Officer acts as the designated officer for lifesaving (LSA) and firefighting (FFA) appliances, ensuring all safety equipment remains in a constant state of readiness per SOLAS requirements.
• Reporting to the Master and Chief Officer, this role involves keeping a safe navigational watch, managing mooring parties and handling the accurate preparation of vessel documentation for port arrivals and departures.
