Overview

FT Recruitment is delighted to be working with our market-leading client as they look to add to their expanding IT team. This is a newly created role and would suit someone with a strong IT background who has between 1-4 years working within a 3rd line/infrastructure role.

Our client will support the successful candidate through future qualifications and IT certificates whilst offering hybrid working, excellent softer benefits and the chance to join a business that is looking at investing in new technology to drive efficiency.

Key duties

• Administer and support IT/applications, including upgrades, integrations, and customisations to optimise performance and user experience.
• Deliver 2nd and 3rd line support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests across servers, storage, and network environments.
• Oversee infrastructure health by monitoring utilisation, capacity planning, and performance tuning, while maintaining reliable backup and recovery solutions.
• Contribute to infrastructure projects and system enhancements, collaborating with teams to drive improvements and ensure business continuity.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and industry standards.

Requirements / Qualifications

Candidates will ideally have experience working within a similar role. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and networking fundamentals.
