Job description

3rd Line Server and Cloud Services Manager

6 months

London - hybrid

£495 per day inside ir35 - Umbrella only

Role overview

The open position is to work as the lead member of the third line server and cloud services team, managing the team and supporting all technologies that the business use. The team is small so the role is demanding and requires an enthusiastic multi-skilled person.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Qualified MCITP
  • ITIL qualified to Foundation Level
  • Strong Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Strong Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, IaaS, SaaS and PaaS.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, AAD, Windows Server, SQL Server, Oracle, Linux, Cloud Backup Solutions and Cloud Computing Principals.
  • Familiarity with and experience working to the ISO/IEC 27001 standards
  • Experience of working to tight SLA/OLA's and deadlines
  • Experience of change management process
  • Ability to apply existing knowledge to resolve issues on unfamiliar systems
  • Able to gather and analyse information
  • Able to determine service impacts and risks
  • Able to understand and articulate complex ideas
  • Logical and rational approach to problems
  • Able to prepare and deliver management briefings
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills and able to communicate at all levels, technical and non-technical

Advantageous

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft InTune, Manage Engine and MDM solutions.
  • Working knowledge of HPe hardware (Servers, and Storage Arrays)
  • Experience of working with monitoring tools (SCOM and HP Insight Dynamics, Manage Engine)
  • Working knowledge of Networking and Firewalls
