Excellent opportunity for a 3rd line support engineer to join a prestigious school on a short-term 2-month contract.

This organisation is a well-established, dynamic, and ambitious Sixth Form College focused on delivering excellent education to students from diverse backgrounds.

In this role, you will provide onsite 3rd line support for staff and students, including firewall and server configuration, troubleshooting, and infrastructure monitoring and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in 3rd line support, helpdesk, and incident management. Skills in WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security, and operating systems are essential. Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP troubleshooting, and administration is required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a 3rd line support engineer to utilize their technical skills in a renowned higher educational facility.

The Role:
  • Infrastructure / networking monitoring and maintenance
  • Daily system checks including backups
  • Working days: Monday to Friday
The Person:
  • Must be commutable to Wandsworth
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, & Active Directory
  • Experience with core server technologies including AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and Printer Management
  • Previous experience in Desktop Support
  • Experience with Network Troubleshooting, including switches, routers, and firewalls
