Job Description:

Our client is expanding and looking for a talented 3D Technical Designer with SketchUp experience to join their Projects team at Farnborough. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for an ambitious, confident self-starter eager to contribute to a growing creative company.

In this role, you will collaborate with Project Managers to create exhibition displays, producing 3D technical drawings, 2D schematics, and cut files to ensure flawless project delivery.

Responsibilities include:

• Interpreting 3D renders and briefs into T3 Framework (training provided)
• Creating artwork templates for print production
• Producing construction drawings for effective stand assembly
• Generating 2D schematics and cut files for fabrication
• Compiling parts lists
• Collaborating with Project Managers to meet deadlines
• Supporting production with CAD drawings

Requirements and Skills:

• Experience with 3D CAD, especially SketchUp (beneficial but not mandatory)
• Strong technical knowledge, especially in construction and substrates
• Draftsmanship and 2D CAD experience
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
• Initiative and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems
• High attention to detail
• Experience in the exhibition industry is a bonus but not essential
