Job Description:

Our client is expanding and looking for a talented 3D Technical Designer with SketchUp experience to join their Projects team at their Farnborough headquarters. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for an ambitious, confident self-starter eager to be part of a growing creative company.

As a 3D Technical Designer, you will collaborate with Project Managers to create stunning exhibition displays. Using designs from Creative and Sales teams, you will produce 3D technical drawings, 2D schematics, and cut files to ensure flawless project delivery.

Responsibilities include:

• Interpreting 3D renders and briefs into T3 Framework (training provided)
• Creating accurate artwork templates for print production
• Developing construction drawings for effective stand assembly
• Producing 2D schematics and cut files for fabrication
• Generating parts lists
• Collaborating with Project Managers to meet deadlines
• Supporting production with CAD drawings for manufacturing

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience with 3D CAD software, mainly SketchUp (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong technical knowledge, especially in construction and substrates
• Draftsmanship and 2D CAD experience
• AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
• Initiative and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork and effective communication
• Experience in the Exhibition industry is advantageous but not essential (training provided)
