Job Description:

This is a long-term contract opportunity with a luxury automotive manufacturer in the Midlands. The main purpose of this role is the successful delivery of 3D modelled content to support various CGI use cases, including Vehicle Design, Materiality, Brand, and Customer Ready workstreams.

Candidates should have experience in 3D Topology Modelling (Hard and Soft Surfaces), 3D Scene Management, UV creation, and Material/Shader development.

Proven experience in 3D Modelling within the CGI industry is required. The candidate should be an expert in Autodesk Maya (or equivalent), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Substance, data/file management, scene structuring, and 3D modelling. Experience working according to defined processes and technical standards (pipeline) is essential.

We seek an individual who works independently, is results-driven, and demonstrates tenacity, drive, and perseverance to deliver high-quality imagery in a complex, demanding environment. The candidate should have a strong ability and resilience to work in a fast-paced production, with a proven record of meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality output. Attention to detail and quality of output are paramount.

The individual should be dedicated to working according to a defined process and set of technical standards. They should be resilient, enthusiastic, and responsive to new ideas and inputs. Good communication skills are necessary, with the ability to lead team collaboration. This contract is considered Inside IR35 with long-term potential. It offers hybrid working with three days on-site in the Midlands.
