Jellycat Toy Co. Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a 3D Graphic Designer to conceptualise and create documents for the Design team, communicating information in clear visual form.

You will translate 2D sketches into 3D rotations for sampling, render 3D artwork with fabric choices, and use CAD to adjust factory imagery while supporting mood boards and presentations for Design and Innovation teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day support to the Technical Designer creating 3D design and animation.
• Create visually compelling presentations across product, research and artwork for the Design team and wider business.
• Transform 2D artwork sketches to 3D rotations for sampling.
• Render 3D artwork with colour and fabric choices.
• Use CAD to adjust factory photographs for resampling.
• Replicate fabric textures and create new designs.
• Create mesh 3D models for character clothing and pattern making.
• Support Senior Technical Design Manager with rotational guides for factories/warehouses.
• Assist Design and Innovation teams by elevating mood boards and presentations.
• Support admin tasks when required.

We are looking for a 3D Graphic Designer to conceptualise and create documents for the Design team and wider business, communicating information in a clear visual way.

You’ll be;

• Providing day-to-day support to the Technical Designer creating 3D design and animation.
• Creating visually compelling presentations across product, research and artwork for the Design team and wider business, introducing 3D graphics and animation to on-brand layouts making them more dynamic.
• Transforming 2D artwork sketches to 3D rotations to help with sampling.
• Rendering 3D artwork introducing colour and fabric choices.
• Using CAD to aide resampling by making adjustments to factory photographs.
• Replicating fabric textures and create new designs.
• Creating mesh 3D models to help with character clothing and pattern making.
• Supporting the Senior Technical Design Manager in setting up rotational guides for the factories and warehouses.
• Supporting our Design and Innovation teams by elevating mood boards and presentations.
• Willing to help with admin related responsibilities when required.

You’ll have;

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of 3D software (Blender and Clo3D would be an advantage).
• Knowledge of fabric and pattern making would be an advantage.
• An interest in technical progression and innovation.
• Core design principles and strong Visual Communication.
• The ability to problem solve & communicate clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and be able to work to a deadline.
• The ability to be self-motivated and be keen to learn new systems, processes and skills.
• An interest in design or creative industries.
• The ability to have discretion with confidential information.
